Terms of use

Using ChromatoHub, uploading data and sharing your work. Last updated 31 October 2026.

ChromatoHub is operated by Furiga GmbH (Zürich, CHE-390.989.511). These terms describe the use of our chromatography learning resources and the Chromatobench analysis workbench. Contact us at [email protected].

Research and education

ChromatoHub is intended for research and education. Check imported values, units, analysis settings and results against your original records and laboratory procedures. Do not use ChromatoHub as the sole basis for clinical decisions or regulated product-release decisions.

Independence and third-party trademarks

ChromatoHub and Chromatobench are independent of instrument manufacturers. References to instrument, software and resin names identify the products discussed or the specific export formats supported; they do not imply affiliation, sponsorship, endorsement or certification by their manufacturers. Our educational guides do not replace the manufacturer's current instructions for your instrument, software version or laboratory procedures.

Cytiva™, ÄKTA™, UNICORN™, Superdex™, HiTrap™ and Capto™ are trademarks of Cytiva™ or its affiliates. All other trademarks are the property of their respective owners. See Cytiva™ trademark guidelines.

Linked manuals, publications and other third-party materials remain subject to their owners' rights and applicable licenses. A citation or link does not grant permission to reproduce that material. The CC BY 4.0 license for approved library contributions does not extend to linked third-party materials. To report a rights concern, send the page URL and details to [email protected].

Accounts and access

Use an email address you control, protect your sign-in credentials and recovery codes, and tell us if you suspect unauthorized access. Do not access another person's account or data without permission.

Your uploads and content

Only upload material that you have the right and authority to provide. Check instrument exports for confidential information and personal data before uploading or sharing them. You retain your rights in your content. You authorize the processing needed to provide the features you use, in accordance with the privacy notice and your upload choices. We do not use your project contents to train models.

Files you import are uploaded to our server. The privacy notice explains storage, retention, format-support processing and deletion. Browser-based analysis does not mean that uploaded files stay only on your device.

Supported formats and saving your work

Format support depends on the instrument and export format. Check the imported traces and metadata before relying on them. Uploading a file does not guarantee that its format can be parsed. Save your work explicitly and keep your original data and independent copies.

Workspaces and share links

Workspace members can access projects shared with that workspace. Anyone holding an active share link can access the linked project, including its original files. Only share information you are authorized to disclose. You can revoke share links from your account.

Public library contributions

Library submissions remain private until approved. Approved contributions are published under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 license (CC BY 4.0). Submit only content you may license on those terms, including any attached project and original files. Check those files for confidential information and personal data before submitting them.

Withdrawing a record removes it from ChromatoHub, but does not revoke rights already granted under the license. Copies that others made under that license may remain available.

Acceptable use

Do not upload malicious content, infringe others' rights, bypass access controls or disrupt the service. We may restrict access where reasonably necessary to address abuse or security risks. Contact us to discuss an access restriction.

Privacy and contact

The privacy notice explains how we handle account information, uploads, sharing, operator notifications and deletion. For questions about these terms, the service or your data, write to [email protected]. See Contact for details.
